But there's a question worth asking before you choose your platform.
Are you building a site, or a surface that needs to be found?
Client-side React (the default output of most AI builders) has real limitations for search crawlability. Google, ChatGPT, and Claude often land on a near-empty page. The content loads after, in JavaScript, at a point where most crawlers have already moved on.
You publish, you optimize, you write. And a meaningful chunk of that work stays invisible.
Speed and discoverability aren't always at odds, but they require different architectural choices. Knowing which one you're optimizing for before you build saves a painful conversation later.

When we work with founders, companies who sell to bigger companies, the same thing comes up.
The product or service is good. But the deck looks like one company, the site looks like another, and the copy says the same sentence every AI company says.
With a startup client that doesn't cost you much. One founder tries it and decides.
Inside a bigger company it's five people, and most of them never speak to you. Someone in procurement, someone in security, a VP who hasn't heard your name. They pass your deck and your site around and decide without you in the room.
So we start with the brand and build the site on top of it, so both say the same thing.
The Volition wordmark on that painted landscape makes the infrastructure feel grounded instead of abstract. The custom mark in the i stays quiet enough that the building still leads.
My own site, built to be edited in one place. Every section reads from a single data folder, so adding a project or a skill means editing one file, not the UI.
It ships with the SEO work done: sitemap, robots, schema.org structured data, social preview images generated at build time, and a plain-text summary for AI assistants. Verified in Google Search Console and Bing.
Stack: Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, Framer Motion, deployed on Render.
The single data folder makes the site easy to update without opening the components. I'd add a build check that stops the deploy when a project is missing its title or social image.
Google doesn't even know your website exists.
If your website isn’t showing up in Google search results, do this BEFORE worrying about SEO:
1️⃣ Search site:yourwebsite.com on Google.
If you see your pages, great! Google knows your website exists.
2️⃣ If your website or an important page is missing, open Google Search Console.
3️⃣ Submit your sitemap so Google can discover the pages on your website.
4️⃣ For a specific page, use the URL Inspection tool and click “Request Indexing.”
Indexing won’t automatically put you on page one, but Google can’t even begin to rank a page it doesn’t know exists!
