This cinematic reel from Tiruvannamalai Temple, India was edited with one goal: let the music lead the story.
Rather than relying on constant fast cuts, I matched the pace of the visuals to the soundtrack—slowing down where the music breathes and building momentum as the energy rises. Speed ramps, subtle slow-motion, and carefully timed cuts create a natural flow that carries the viewer through the journey.

You’ve got to be kidding me with some of the scope of work to price on production job postings I’ve seen. I think fiverr and upwork have been so detrimental to clients living in reality about pricing high quality creative work that you see absolute highway robbery budgets for a shit ton of work.
Client: 20-40 short form edits a month (references are all super detailed edit work + motion gfx) and they want the average price of a video to be sub $100.
This isn’t the 1950s anymore ladies and gents where you’re filling a grocery cart for $15.
This is where Contra stands above every other job board platform because despite seeing some postings on here that are living in lalaland, it’s not fiverr where you actually have the majority of jobs being outsourced for literal dollars and driving down what the work is worth industry wide.
Either way though, you get what you pay for and there’s nobody doing work for these prices outputting consistent great quality which is why you see these same clients with ridiculous turnover and always looking for new editors
Some people are wild out there
I challenged myself to create an AI-generated automotive commercial that feels like something a real car brand would release, not just another AI video.
The goal was to combine cinematic storytelling, a realistic AI presenter, smooth motion graphics and premium editing to create a commercial that puts the product first.
