🎬 How it was made: every AI image and clip was generated in CapCut Video Studio
① One hero frame (Seedream 4.3, 2K, 9:16): my character from Beam Me to LA in a new outfit, reusing his CapCut-made reference sheet, then quick Seedream edits to strip any logos.
② Each mid-air gag starts from its own Seedream frame built from the previous one, so the face and red jacket carry through: a hot-air balloon, a pelican family, a saucer cameo using my earlier alien and saucer references, and the landing at the venue.
③ Animated with Seedance 2.0 Fast (720p, 9:16): one 15s take-off, three 8s gags and a 12s landing, each prompt timed beat by beat. From the landing prompt: "4-8s: an event staff member … stretches a measuring tape from the edge of the pit to the man's heels, reads it, then slowly looks up at him, stunned."
④ The distance counter is typography, not generated text. It starts at take-off and rolls from metres to kilometres across every cut, holds on landing and pops to "11,700 KM – NEW WORLD RECORD" the moment the tape is read. It was rendered frame by frame with Claude Code and placed on the CapCut timeline.
⑤ Cut in CapCut: opening title, "Action Sports" from CapCut's music library, a whoosh on take-off, a thud on landing, a bell on the record, and a fade to black.
