There are stories that entertain, and then there are stories that stay with you long after the last page.
This concept was one of those.
Before thinking about colors or typography, I wanted to understand the emotion behind the story. Two teenagers deeply in love, knowing their time together is limited because of blood cancer. Heartbreaking, yet incredibly beautiful.
Rather than simply designing a romance cover, I wanted readers to feel that quiet heartbreak at first glance. Every choice from the composition to the lighting was made to reflect the tenderness, hope, and inevitable loss at the heart of their journey.
For me, book cover design isn't just about creating something beautiful. It's about giving a story a visual identity that makes readers pause, feel something, and want to discover what's inside.
