A client of mine recently reached out to me to design merchandise for his mechanic brand based in Mexico City. They specialize in auto and truck maintenance, and he wanted a design that reflects what they do, but in a modern, stylish way.

He initially shared a sample and an idea which is tools arranged in the shape of a car, with the brand’s logo in the center. While creative, I knew it might not translate well visually, so I proposed an alternative concept and that’s the design we have now. He absolutely loved it.
