While working on the Crainey Law website, I kept coming back to one question:
"How can design make someone feel more confident about reaching out for help?"
That mindset influenced every decision—from the layout structure and content hierarchy to the placement of calls to action.
Instead of chasing trends, I focused on clarity, trust, and ease of navigation.
A reminder that good design isn't always about adding more. Sometimes, it's about removing friction and helping people feel certain about their next step.

To your question, social proof near the top, not buried below the fold. When someone's stressed about a legal situation they want to see that others trusted this person and it worked out. The dark palette and clear practice area breakdown on the Crainey site looks like it communicates authority without feeling cold.
