A SaaS product can work perfectly and still feel a little flat.
I recently contributed motion design to Revella, an omnichannel SaaS platform, focusing on how the product could be presented through motion.
The goal wasn’t to animate everything.
I focused on the moments that mattered: smoother transitions, clearer interactions, subtle feedback, and UI animations that helped explain the product without overcomplicating it.
Every movement had a purpose.
Show the workflow. Highlight the feature. Keep the story moving.
Good motion isn’t just about making a product look cool.
It’s about making it easier to understand and more enjoyable to experience.

Knowing which moments deserve motion and which don't is honestly the harder skill than the animation itself. How do you decide what earns it versus what's just noise?

Curious what your process looked like for the SaaS product video.
