The scattered card drift keeps it playful without burying the "back to home" CTA, that balance is hard to pull off on a 404. How long did the timing take to feel right?

Scattering the portfolio thumbnails as the 404 backdrop is smart: it turns a dead end into a preview of the work and quietly pulls people deeper instead of bouncing. In Framer I would add a light cursor-drift or parallax on those cards so the page feels alive the second it loads, before anyone reads Back to home.

I usually don't stop at 3 breakpoints when building a website.
Most people think about: Mobile, Tablet, Laptop
I like adding one more: Desktop
Because what looks great at 1440px can feel completely different at 1920px...
- The layout gets too wide.
- Spacing starts feeling off.
- Content loses its balance.
So I like testing the system across: Mobile → Tablet → Laptop → Desktop
Not because every website needs exactly 4 breakpoints. But because responsive design isn't about making a few screen sizes work.
It's about making the whole system work.

Wide screens expose spacing issues that laptop previews can hide.
a longevity health membership asked me for the first ten seconds of their site. two opinionated directions, not four safe ones.

opens with how it works, shown through real product interface. the clearest version of what the category already does.
risk: one more health dashboard.
B · the publication: https://onetwenty-direction-b.framer.website/
opens with the reader's doubt, then explains. a big serif headline, one photo, a section that plays the idea out as you scroll.
risk: drifting into wellness.
the copy is nearly identical in both, on purpose. so the question isn't which one looks better:
which one would make you trust a health company with your blood and your data?
