With the 2026 Winter Olympics kicking off in Italy, I thought Iâd share one of my favourite sport projects, my Winter Olympics animations. Handcrafted using acetate (lots of it), acrylic paints, combined with some digital artwork that give the animations a raw energy that resonates with the spirit of the athletes.Â
I think the snowboarder is still my fav.

One of the key moments of the experience lives in the scroll.
As the user moves down the page, a hostile drone silhouette appears in the distance. A tracking line with a targeting scope follows it in real time â mimicking interceptor optics. The movement is fully synchronized with scroll behavior, creating the feeling of manual control.
Then comes the lock.
The line stabilizes. The scope tightens. And on the final scroll trigger â impact.
The drone explodes and dissolves from the screen, symbolizing neutralization.
This interaction transforms passive browsing into an active mission moment. Itâs not just animation â itâs a controlled, immersive micro-narrative embedded into the interface.
The result? A powerful user experience that blends storytelling, motion design, and metaphor into one precise digital action.
