How I approach a new WordPress build
Before I write a single line of CSS or configure a single plugin, I spend time on structure.
That means understanding what the site needs to accomplish, not just what pages it needs. Who is the buyer, what do they need to believe before they contact you, and what is the clearest path to that moment? Those questions shape the architecture before design begins.
From there I work in Breakdance on WordPress. Every build is custom, not a template adapted to fit, but a site built around the specific business.
That takes longer than starting from a theme. It also means the site doesn't carry the constraints of someone else's design decisions.
The result is a site you can manage independently after handoff. You don't need me to update your hours or swap an image. That was always the goal.
