Paywall. Subscription engine. Retention loop. Customer experience. All in one place. So before spending more on Mobile App Design, Mobile App UX/UI Design, redesign, onboarding, paywall UX, trial changes, gamification, or development - ask a better question. ❌ Wrong question: “Should we redesign the app?” ✅ Better question: “Where does the product lose value, trust, action, retention, or revenue?” ❌ Wrong question: “Should the trial be 7 or 21 days?” ✅ Better question: “How long does this product need to prove value - and can the unit economics survive that free access?” ⚠️ There is no universal rule in Mobile Growth UX. A 21-day trial can help a wellness app. And hurt a productivity app where value should appear in the first session. 📉 +7 free days can increase trial-to-paid conversion. Or just give more free access to people who were never going to pay. That is why real Mobile App UX/UI Design for growth is not a set of UX hacks. It is UX, UI, product strategy, behavioral psychology, monetization, analytics, and unit economics working together. 💸 If a UX decision makes one metric look better but makes the business weaker - it is not growth. I set out to build an interface and interaction that could be used as an on-set movie prop, allowing actors to interact and capture a real time interaction performance in-camera.

I chose the X-Men franchise as a basis for the storyline here; people with potential mutant DNA place and hold a finger on this scanning device which assesses their DNA and produces a summary of the dormant mutant genes that they possess.

What makes this "unbuildable" is just the shear amount of motion graphics components coupled with an interface structure that morphs and reforms as the experience progresses. Thanks!
