“Should I make an app or a website first?”
Business owners ask this a lot. The honest answer is: it depends on how often your customers come back.
If new people find you on Google and come once a year, start with a website.
If the same customers come back often and book or order again and again, an app makes more sense. It sits on their phone, one tap away.

Lenga Tecking App 🐐🏔️✨
Lenga is a concept app to discover, plan and walk Patagonian trails safely. In a region where weather turns in hours and signal disappears, most hiking apps still lock offline maps behind a paywall. Lenga starts from one idea: safety should never be premium.
What I did, end to end:
→ UX research: public surveys, app reviews and safety reports from the region
→ Proto-personas, journey map, user tasks and MoSCoW priorities
→ Information architecture: onboarding, 5 tabs, 6 flows and every state (offline, low battery, no results)
→ UI kit: earthy Patagonian palette, glass panels with grain, components and a huemul logo drawn with contour lines
→ AI imagery with a film look, plus mockups with the real app screens
→ A fully connected prototype built with AI and published on Vercel
Key features: safe return (if you don't check in, your contact gets your last location), hourly weather window, "Is it for me?" fit check, offline navigation with off-route alerts, "I'm lost" guide and hold-to-send SOS.
