I designed a cinematic storytelling workflow that transforms a single emotional idea into a complete short-film production system — from concept to final edit-ready sequence.
It is built around one core emotional moment:
A young man achieves his dream job and rushes to share the news with his father, only to discover that his father has passed away moments before he arrives.
Instead of treating this as a story, the workflow converts it into a repeatable cinematic engine for emotional filmmaking.
The system breaks down any emotional idea into a structured production pipeline:
Emotional intelligence analysis (core emotion, conflict, subtext)
Character psychology mapping (behavior over exposition)
5-phase cinematic narrative structure
Shot-by-shot visual storyboard design
AI-ready image prompt generation per frame
Sound design and silence mapping for emotional control
Editing timeline for final video assembly
The goal is to enable creators to turn simple human emotions into cinematic short-form films using a consistent, reusable system — not by writing stories, but by engineering emotional experiences.

This is really smart 👏 Turning something that usually needs technical skills into a one-click solution is powerful. I’ve been exploring AI automation in a similar direction — amazing to see how it’s simplifying creative workflows!
For the Flora Technique Challenge, I experimented with a single input image that produces two distinct outputs. The first is a character sheet design, featuring multiple angles and key visual traits to clearly define the character. The second is a 4K cinematic storytelling sequence, composed of 9 scenes arranged in a 3×3 grid.
The goal behind this approach was simple: to ensure that the cinematic storytelling remains visually consistent with the character sheet across every scene. Bridging that gap between design and narrative is something I find incredibly valuable as generative workflows continue to evolve.
For the entire image pipeline, I used Nano Banana 2, while prompt expansion was handled with Claude Sonnet 4.6 inside Flora AI.
