Yesterday during the International Women’s Day builder event (@Lovable offered free access for the day), I spent some time prototyping a small (but mighty!) tool I’ve been wanting to build. ⚒️
Working title: MarginLens.
The idea is simple: forecast the profitability of a project *before* committing to the deal.
You enter things like:
• client budget
• proposed project price
• team roles and estimated hours
• target margin
• scope clarity / revision risk
The tool calculates projected margin and highlights whether the project actually meets your margin target.
Still early, but it already makes it much easier to pressure-test project pricing.
It’s especially useful for agencies or project-based teams where pricing decisions can quietly erode margin. 📉
Curious if others here built anything fun during the event!
