🌈✨ 2026 has officially locked in one major trend: dopamine design is no longer just an aesthetic – it’s a whole mood taking over everything.

It’s in interiors (bold accents, unexpected combinations), in fashion (prints, color, play), in branding (expressive visuals over strict rules), and of course – it has made its way into web design.

So what does it actually look like on websites?

It’s all about that “I want to keep clicking” feeling:

🫟 color that isn’t afraid to stand out 🫟 playful, character-driven graphics 🫟 collages, stickers, illustrations 🫟 a touch of naivety and a lot of emotion

Less about perfection – more about personality ✨

And even in course design (including Kajabi), this style is starting to show up 🚀

Not everywhere, but it works especially well in certain niches:

I feel like the aesthetic has always been based on dopamine design, but it was once called maximalism. I feel like I alwasy start with full on colorful design, but can now see the areas that might need some pulling back for my clients.
