THE LAST MESSAGE
A paper plane leaves the terrace of a 94-year-old woman at sunset and travels through a quiet Adriatic village, returning to the classroom where her seven-year-old self is waiting.
“The Last Message” is a short cinematic story about memory, time, and the parts of us that never truly leave.
I developed the concept, story, visual direction, and AI-assisted reference images, generated the motion with Seedance 2.5, and completed the editing, transitions, sound design, and final color treatment in CapCut Video Studio.

The paper plane connecting her to her seven-year-old self is genuinely moving, that's a tough emotional beat to land in AI-generated footage. What was harder to nail, the young girl's likeness or the tone of that transition?
Thanks Diego! Landing the tone of that transition was definitely the trickiest part.
The paper plane isn't meant to be literal magic , it's an accidental trigger for memory, floating past familiar places to bridge her 94 year old self with who she was at age 7.

Making sense
Hello everyone! I'm excited to present my work for the @CapCut Seedance 2.5 Video Challenge by Contra !
When choosing a theme for this project, I wanted to touch upon something relatable and important to each of us. That's why this idea came to my mind. After all, each of us sometimes wanders through dark corridors filled with our fears on our life journey and doesn't always see a way out. But we must remember which battle is truly the most important and which victory is the most valuable. The answer I found in my reflections - you can see in the video.

How I made it:
1. Formulated the idea and wrote the script
2. Broke down the script into timelines and detailed each scene
3. Validated and generated the required prompt in Claude over several iterations with manual adjustments
4. Generated the video in CapCut Seedance 2.5, also over several iterations
5. Did a quick post-production in CapCut Media Editor

Going script first, then timelines and scene breakdowns before ever touching Seedance is a much more deliberate process than most people bother with for a challenge entry. Which stage ate up the most iterations, the Claude prompt validation or the post production pass?
What if an action movie had ZERO cuts?
I built a one-take chase sequence in Seedance 2.5; following a fugitive running through chaos, explosions, and close combat in real time.
The entire film is one continuous shot, designed to feel immersive, fast, and cinematic from start to finish.
