For my Config Makeathon submission, I present... Sabra ā a safe space for faith, growth and belonging šæ
Sabra (ŲµŲØŲ±Ų©) is a social-first faith and wellness app for young Muslims who want a beautiful, non-judgmental space to explore their faith, connect with community, and grow at their own pace.
The problem:
Muslim gen-z are caught between two worlds. Secular wellness apps feel disconnected from their faith. Existing Islamic apps feel outdated and clinical. There's nowhere online that feels like home ā somewhere you can be honest about doubt, guilt, growth, and joy without being judged.
The name:
Sabra comes from the Arabic word for patience ā rooted in sabbar, the aloe vera plant. It grows in the harshest desert, needs almost nothing, and still heals. That's the energy of this app.

ā Scroll-first social feed that feels like Pinterest meets TikTok
ā AI-guided journaling with psychology-informed prompts
ā TikTok-style reels for faith talks and personal stories
ā Anonymous community forum for honest conversations about faith and identity
ā Word of the day ā collectable cards teaching meaningful Arabic concepts
ā Mosque finder with the ability to request an introduction to a local imam
ā Prayer tracker with qibla compass
ā Fasting tracker and faith calendar
ā Charity donation model ā your screen time contributes to real charitable giving, reframing scrolling as productive
ā Designed by a BSc Psychology graduate ā every feature is grounded in behavioural science

Memento - OCD (Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder) App
I built Memento for the #ConfigMakeathon using #FigmaMake, #FigmaMCP, and #Cursor.
The problem I wanted to solve : Millions of people worldwide live with OCD and anxiety and as someone touched by it, I know the struggle daily. Checking things (like closing windows or turning off lights) causes intense stress and repetitive doubts. Most tools don't help your brain remember the action, so I wanted to make the experience feel mindful, visual, and safe.
In Memento, you cannot just tap to complete a task. You must press and hold for 3 seconds. This UX choice forces mindfulness and anchors your brain to the action.
The project includes:
- 3-Second Verification: Press and hold to anchor your brain and remember the action.
- Meditation & Shortcuts: Quick access to "SOS Calm" to reduce anxiety instantly.
- My Victories: A dedicated space to track your success and feel safe.
- Visual & Audio Proof: Live photo and instant voice recording for peace of mind.
- Calming Visual Design: A clean, high-contrast palette with soft greys and dark green to banish stressful colors (like red) and minimize anxiety.
The goal was to keep the interface clean and focused, while adding just enough feedback to make the user feel completely safe and calm.

I built an anonymous corner for the internet. It's called the Fruit Market. šš
Every visitor leaves behind a unique fruit that represents them.
You choose a fruit, give it a label, add a few pieces of identity, and answer a prompt about something you're carrying, longing for, or wishing someone understood.
Then you place it on the shelf.
The result is a market full of anonymous human artifacts:
A mango who is missing home.
A peach who is terrified of graduating.
A dragon fruit who is searching for purpose.
The idea came from a question:
How deeply can we understand each other when names are removed?
Built with Figma and Figma Make on my humble phone and tablet. My goal was to create a whimsical, imperfect, yet vulnerable space that feels somewhere between a community bulletin board, a missed-connections page, and a message in a bottle.
