During my time at McClatchy, I helped launch the company’s first centralized Sponsored Content vertical, designed to unify branded campaigns across 30+ U.S. markets under one cohesive system.
Before this project, sponsored stories lived in silos, each market managed its own content manually, with no shared process or visibility.
I partnered with product, marketing, and ad-ops teams to define structure, workflows, and automation processes. Using Wrike, AdPoint, and HubSpot, I built and documented the operational framework that allowed campaigns to move smoothly from proposal to publication. This project taught me how powerful the right structure can be when operations, marketing, and creative work as one system, campaigns don’t just run, they scale!
