Claymonk - Pottery Experience

When my friend started a ceramic studio, I wanted to help him create a website. After exploring Omma, I created an interactive experience that could introduce more people to this process and motivate them to book a pottery date.
The idea was to create a calm, warm and unique experience that could be shared and become a start for a real life experience.

Hey everyone! This is my submission for the challenge.
I’m really into creating interactive experiences. In this concept, the interaction reacts to the cursor — as you hover, a plexus-like effect appears with glows and dynamic elements. It feels smooth and organic, almost like a magnetic field following the cursor.
You can also drag particles and release them, which adds a playful layer to the interaction.
What’s really cool is that OMMA lets you customize the effect — you can adjust parameters like color, density, and size to create different visual results. It’s also possible to upload your own custom models and apply the same effect to them.

Ran out of credits so I had to submit something incomplete but I like this idea so I felt the need to still push through.
WAVES is a small interactive piece where you build a sandcastle, one click at a time.
Progress is slow and barely visible at first. It takes repeated clicks before anything meaningful appears.
Around you are other castles—larger, more complete. If you hover over them, they grow. Yours begins to fade. The more time you spend comparing, the less your own holds its shape.
There’s a quiet session timer, and a tide that slowly moves in. Nothing lasts forever, but you still choose where to spend your time.
The allegory is simple: you can tend to what’s yours, or you can watch what others are building. You don’t really get to do both.
