Most wellness apps promise better health. But does the homepage make people believe they'll actually achieve it?
I came across Roundglass Living and saw an opportunity to improve how the homepage communicates its value, builds trust, and encourages more people to download the app.
So, I redesigned the hero section with one goal: help visitors understand what the app offers within seconds and make taking the next step feel effortless.
Some of the changes I explored:
• Replaced the soft gradient hero with a bolder visual identity to create a stronger first impression and make the brand more memorable.
• Improved the visual hierarchy by introducing a clear reading flow: trust signal, headline, supporting copy, call-to-action, then product showcase.
• Added a 4.9/5 rating above the fold to establish credibility before asking users to take action.
• Refined the messaging to clearly communicate how the app helps users build healthier habits and improve their wellbeing every day.
• Updated the primary call-to-action to "Download App" with direct App Store and Google Play icons, reducing friction for users who are ready to install the app.
• Replaced the static phone mockup with a feature-focused product showcase, giving visitors a better preview of the app experience and encouraging further exploration.
• Used stronger typography, improved spacing, and higher contrast to make the content easier to scan on mobile while giving the page a more premium, modern feel.
Every design decision was guided by one question:
"How can we help visitors trust the app faster and feel confident enough to download it?"

Roundglass Living Roundglass if this direction resonates, I'd be happy to discuss how similar improvements could be applied across the rest of the website to strengthen the user experience and increase conversions.
And if you made it this far, thank you! I'd love to hear your thoughts and feedback. 👇

Focusing on belief and trust is a smart way to rethink a wellness homepage. People need to feel the value before committing to another health app.
