How do you turn a complex process that only a handful of people understand into one that everyone can follow with confidence?
That was the challenge behind this workflow redesign project.
The existing document transmittal process had evolved over time, making it difficult to follow consistently. Multiple teams, approval stages and handovers increased the risk of delays, miscommunication and inconsistent ways of working.
My role was to analyse the existing workflow, identify bottlenecks and design a clear, standardised process that could be easily understood and adopted by everyone involved.
Working with stakeholders across multiple teams, I mapped the end-to-end workflow, documented every decision point and redesigned the process into a structured flow that clearly defined responsibilities, approval routes and document movement throughout the lifecycle.

The outcome:

One of the biggest lessons from projects like this is that the best processes aren't necessarily the most complex—they're the ones people can understand, trust and follow consistently. Good process design removes uncertainty, improves collaboration and gives teams confidence that everyone is working the same way.

I fixed a logistics user flow that was costing delivery drivers unnecessary time and effort.
Here's how.
Over the past two days, I've been designing a mobile app for a logistics company.
The goal was simple: make completing a package delivery as fast and frictionless as possible.
At the start of the project, I tried to think like a delivery driver. I put myself in their shoes and looked at the experience from their perspective.
That's when something stood out.
Delivery drivers spend most of their day outdoors, in the heat, rain, or cold. In those conditions, the last thing they want to do is keep tapping through multiple screens just to complete a delivery.
That led me to one question:
What if we could reduce the number of steps required to mark a package as delivered?
It seems like a small change, but it solves a real problem that often goes unnoticed.
I won't cover the entire project, but here's one part of the flow we improved: the final delivery confirmation.
Our initial flow was similar to what many logistics apps use. It required 7 taps:
> Take package photo
> Upload
> Continue
> Capture signature
> Upload signature
> Continue
✅ Confirm delivery
Seven interactions just to finish one delivery.
After several iterations, we reduced it to 5 interactions by combining the process into a single flow:
>Upload package photo
>Upload signature
>Complete delivery
>AI validates both images simultaneously
✅ Success
No separate upload screens.
No individual validation steps.
Instead of validating the package photo and signature one after the other, we optimized the experience so both are validated at the same time.
It's a relatively small UX change, but when multiplied across hundreds of deliveries every day, it can save drivers a significant amount of time while reducing friction in their workflow.
The key takeaway is that Good UX isn't about making people do things faster.
It's about asking them to do less in the first place.
Sometimes the best interface isn't the one with the nicest animations or the prettiest colors.
It's the one that quietly gets out of the user's way.

A documented Standard Operating Procedure and task-tracking system for managing content production and client-facing operational work — built to be handed off to a VA or team member, not just used personally.
The problem: content production and client tasks often live in someone's head rather than a repeatable process, making delegation or handoff difficult.
The work: a 6-step SOP covering content planning, pre-production, editing, hashtag/caption research, publishing, and post-publish monitoring — documented with real tool-specific detail (e.g. editor choice based on device availability) rather than generic steps. Paired with a task delegation tracker covering priority, status, due dates, and notes across recurring content and client-facing tasks.
Note: built during ALX Virtual Assistance certification training and personal practice — presented as sample deliverables demonstrating documentation and operational structure, not drawn from confidential client records.
Result: a reusable framework showing how I'd structure and hand off operational work, not just complete it myself. #freelancerlife
The real tool choices make this much easier for someone else to pick up. I'd also add one finished example for each step, so the next person can compare their work against something concrete.
