Project Overview: Systematic Trading Framework & Risk Management

This project involved the development and implementation of a rigorous three-pillar approach to financial market participation, focusing on FX, indices, and commodities. The goal was to move away from speculative "guesswork" and establish a professional-grade trading operation built on statistical evidence and disciplined execution.

Core Components of the Work:

Edge Definition: I focused on building and backtesting statistically significant strategies. This involved analyzing historical data to ensure a mathematical advantage in the markets, removing reliance on external "gurus" or unverified signals.

Risk Architecture: I implemented institutional-grade risk management protocols. This included precise position sizing, strict drawdown control, and capital preservation frameworks designed to protect the portfolio during periods of market volatility.

Execution Discipline: To bridge the gap between theory and performance, I established high-frequency journaling and live review protocols. This process turned raw market data into actionable performance insights, ensuring that every trade followed a predefined system without emotional interference.

Key Outcomes:

Transitioned from discretionary trading to a fully systematic, process-driven model.

Developed a scalable risk framework based on proprietary prop desk standards.

Maintained a consistent feedback loop through detailed trade journaling to optimize long-term win rates and risk-to-reward ratios.
