The Electric Parlour Co. — Advertisements, 1896
I found Edward Penfield's 1890s magazine posters in the Library of Congress (marked "No known restrictions on publication") and fell in love with their flat colors, bold outlines and grainy lithograph texture. I removed all the original lettering and built the "Electric Parlour 1896" style in Recraft V4 from five of his posters. With it, I created an ad campaign for The Electric Parlour Co., an imaginary company from 1896 that already sells today's everyday tech: food delivery, video calls, wireless earbuds, robot vacuums, selfies, ride-hailing, dating apps and Wi-Fi. The later posters bring the campaign to Armenia, with Mount Ararat, vineyards, pomegranates, apricot orchards and the carved wooden balconies of old Yerevan.

Thank you so much! 😊 The images were made with AI (Recraft), but the idea, the 1890s style I picked and the little Armenian details were mine. That mix of old and new was the fun part!

Bonus: the whole campaign in motion 🎬 Everyone puts their gadgets away and meets at one table: just love each other 🍷🇦🇲
