Designing an 80-page luxury catalogue isn’t just about making products look good—it’s an exercise in information architecture.
The core challenge for the Remer Product Catalogue: Every mirror required immediate technical clarity—product codes, dimensions, electrical compliance, and CAD drawings. But if you only present technical specs, it reads like a dry parts manual. If you only show lifestyle imagery, specifiers and architects can’t do their jobs.
The layout system built in Adobe InDesign:
- A disciplined multi-column grid that standardizes product data across dozens of configurations. - Measured negative whitespace to give dense dimension blocks breathing room. - Full-bleed double-page spreads strategically placed to reset reading rhythm and showcase mirrors in context. - Complete print-ready production files engineered for flawless prepress handoff.
The outcome: an 80-page volume that moves effortlessly between fast commercial specification and aspirational brand experience.
