What if creating textile patterns could feel more intuitive?
For the Figma Makeathon, I created Rapportly ā a concept inspired by the textile term "rapport", the foundation behind seamless repeating patterns.
Traditionally, creating these patterns requires technical knowledge and many iterations. Rapportly explores a new way of approaching this workflow: combining visual exploration, modular assets, and an intuitive design environment.
From choosing a style direction to building and previewing patterns, Rapportly aims to bridge creativity and technology.

I'm building Trazo: an app to train your creativity
These days we all have AI tools at our fingertips that boost our work ā but what changes the result is the creativity you bring to them. And I believe that can be trained.
Here's how it works:
1. You get an ambiguous shape ā a blob, a stone, a smudge. Something that isn't anything yet.
2. You look at it, rotate it, flip it around until something appears. A face, a bird, a wave ā whatever you see.
3. You draw on top and turn it into that. You give it a name.
4. And at the end, the reveal: it shows you what everyone else saw in that same shape. Same blob, a hundred different things.
Being creative isn't about knowing how to draw. It's about seeing differently. And that you can train.
