I recently redesigned the hero section of an immigration law website https://site.i-usa-s.com/ to explore how a stronger first impression can improve trust and conversions.
The goal was simple:
Create a cleaner, more premium visual hierarchy
Make the value proposition instantly clear
Improve the call-to-action for higher engagement
Build credibility through modern UI and thoughtful spacing
Small changes at the top of a page can make a big difference in how users perceive your brand.

After, definitely. Splitting the hero into a clear headline plus that dual-path CTA (consultation vs case types) removes the guesswork for someone stressed about their immigration status. The before version made them work too hard to find what they needed.

Welcome to PUFFHS, a conceptual landing page designed for a premium artisanal bakery specializing in gourmet cream puffs. This project reimagines how we browse and buy high-end digital food products.
Most food e-commerce platforms and delivery apps rely on static, uninspiring grid layouts that fail to capture the true tactile appeal of the product. The challenge was to break away from standard UI patterns and create a digital shopping experience that is as mouth-watering and engaging as the pastries themselves, all while keeping complex dietary information accessible
To solve this, I experimented with a highly interactive, motion-driven approach. The core UX innovation is the "Reveal the Puff" mechanic. Instead of forcing users to read long paragraphs about the ingredients, I designed a seamless micro-interaction that allows them to virtually "slice" the dessert with a single click, instantly revealing the rich filling and texture.

🔥 typographic logo - the macOS icon and the bottom left one aren't super legible though. I'm not a brand designer but I would've opted for a solid background on those 👀

B. I was impressed with the hero section on B. Who doesn't like watching a chef cooking?Option B gives a strong impression in the first 3 seconds about what this website has to offer. More deeply, this visual successfully stimulates the sense of smell, without looking like a restaurant website.
