The concept that didnt make it through the selection process but majority of the brand language, imagery and the visual identity system were adopted and harmonized with the selected one to create one unity and expand the entire design system.

The logo features a modern, intelligent logomark built around a three-phased star symbolizing curiosity, signal throught the noise, and transformation. Constructed from sharp vertical lines with varying stroke weights, it creates a subtle optical illusion that reflects the brand’s core idea of clarity emerging from complexity. The three phases are conceptually tied to the brand name - Ctrl, Shift, and the final outcome: taste. This is paired with a confident, taste-led wordmark blending script and serif typography to spark intrigue and character.

The overall identity is editorial, bold, and creative-first slightly irreverent yet refined. It is opinionated rather than instructional, community-driven and culture-forward, designed to feel like a living platform rather than a one-off campaign. 

The visual system combines pitch-black foundations with shades of grey, accented by subtle color tints, glowy gradients, grainy 3D elements, visual distortions, and futuristic AI-generated imagery, creating a rich, expressive language for rooms filled with artists, technologists, and builders. Helping content creators achieve professional results with the gear they already own.

Content creation has never been more accessible. Every day, creators invest in cameras, tripods, microphones, lights, gimbals, and other equipment to improve their content.

However, owning equipment doesn't automatically translate into great results.

Most creators struggle with questions like:

Where should I place my lights?

What camera angle works best for my space?

How should I position my equipment?

What kind of outcome can I realistically achieve with the gear I already have?

Current solutions often rely on generic tutorials that fail to account for individual environments, available equipment, and content goals.

CreatorSetup is an AI-powered setup planning experience that helps creators generate personalized content creation setups based on:

Their content type

Their workspace

Their available equipment

Their desired outcome

Users select their content category, define or upload their workspace, choose the equipment they already own, and receive a customized setup recommendation showing how to position equipment and what results they can expect.

The goal is not to recommend more purchases.

The goal is to help creators maximize the equipment they already have and achieve professional-looking results regardless of their experience level.

This project was created using Figma's latest ecosystem of tools.

Figma Make was used to rapidly transform ideas into an interactive product experience, allowing me to design, prototype, iterate, and refine the complete user journey from onboarding to setup generation.

Figma Weave was used to create and generate visual assets, helping bring the product experience to life through high-quality imagery and creative exploration. These assets were integrated throughout the experience to better communicate setup recommendations and expected outcomes.

By removing the guesswork from equipment placement and setup planning, creators can spend less time troubleshooting and more time creating.
