Hi Contra! 👋 I've been building Charakit, a small tool for making interactive characters for apps.
Why: most app mascots are static, and animating them is expensive. With Charakit you describe a character (try typing "Hulk"), shape the face and colors, and get a character that blinks, looks where you touch, and reacts to taps and holds. You can export it as JSON/SVG and drop it into a SwiftUI app.
It's early, and I'd love input from designers:
• Do you design mascots or characters for products?
• Would a tool like this fit your workflow, or would you want other export formats (Lottie, Rive, etc.)?
• What would make the characters feel more like yours?
Then: 1 month, 1 template.
Now: 1 week, 15 templates.
Same designer, different workflow.
I wrote up how I built no-code.supply: fifteen website templates, each with its own brand, in HTML and React, and some in Framer too. Claude Code did most of the typing. I did the directing.
