Here is my Submission for the Base44 Give it a glow challenge.. Soso's Kitchen - Gave It A Glow 🍽️
Soso's Kitchen has been one of my favorite local Afro-Caribbean kitchens for years. The food was already incredible, but every order and catering inquiry still happened through Instagram DMs.
I wanted to change that.
Using Base44, I built a complete digital experience that gives the business a proper online home while keeping the ordering process simple for customers.
The build includes online ordering with a deposit checkout, automated order confirmations, a dedicated catering booking system, an AI concierge that answers customer questions, and my favorite feature...Cook With Soso, an AI recipe assistant that creates Afro-Caribbean recipes from ingredients you already have at home.
For me, this project wasn't just about building a website. It was about helping a real local business spend less time managing messages and more time focusing on what they do best.
Before: Every order lived in a DM.
After: A mobile-first ordering experience with automation, AI, and a workflow that scales with the business.
This project reminded me that some of the best AI projects aren't the biggest ones, they're the ones that solve real problems for real people.

I created a social post generator made in Wonder and the Claude MCP!
I know that Wonder is great for app or web design, but I wanted to use it in a different way.
Why? Because Wonder can create assets, templates, can follow guidelines, and be way more creative than a simple AI environment.
Here are the steps by step of what I did:
1- I created a template using Wonder. I used my brand assets, chose the font style, and general look.
2- I connected Claude MCP and created a small web platform to generate a good prompt.
3- I used the prompt on Claude, connected to Wonder, to generate the post. Wonder/Claude can choose the text, post length, which design of specific slides to take from the template, and also decide which image fits best!
4- I directly worked in Wonder to fix some small stuff and export!

On June 24th, we faced the biggest tragedy in our recent history in Venezuela.
Amidst the chaos, dozens of children went missing or were reported kidnapped. We needed an immediate tracking solution.
With no time to spare, I used Lovable to build and deploy Volver a Casa Vzla in just a couple of hours. This proved the immense power of AI in crisis response—turning what usually takes days into a live platform that solves life-or-death needs in hours. So far, we've registered 73 cases, resulting in 1 family reunion.
We are deeply grateful for the international support funding critical supplies like medicines, tools, and masks.
