I don't usually start with a finished vision. I gather photos, concepts, and visual ideas, then experiment until one image begins to feel like the song. The cover isn't always the strongest photograph—it becomes the image that communicates the emotional core the clearest. The...
That makes sense. Choosing the image that carries the song’s emotional core, even when it is not the technically strongest frame, is such a good art-direction filter.
