Great question — I usually start with a KPI snapshot for context, then dig into trends to understand why the numbers changed.

Curious to hear how others use these in real work. For me, KPI snapshots help with quick check-ins, but trend views help spot issues early. Would love to hear how you decide 👇

KPI is pretty useful when you need results quickly, but recently I've come to realize the importance of a Trend Analysis. Both are useful! Hard to choose one!

Exactly. KPIs are great for quick orientation, but trends are what inform decisions over time. I usually see KPIs as the “what is happening now” layer, and trend analysis as the “should we change course” layer. The real value is knowing when to switch between the two.
