Option 1
I'd say Option 1, but having all columns animated can be overwhelming for some users, so I'd only keep the animation in the first column. Great work btw 👍

Hi Florence, i think it depends on your purpose. Option 1 is like a showcase of the steps, instead option 2 is for showing the global range of the app.
Both work very good, but If I have to choose I would go with the option who fits most your goal.

I'd say option 1 since it assumes connecting is a pain point. Staying connected implies reliability after the connection is made. Really depends on where the pain-point lives for you customers.

It is for an Esim app. One shows the steps to connect while the other shows the coverage areas

Option 1 has less cognitive load as compared to Option 2.
I think animating option 1 frame after frame would be pretty good. Asides that, they both tell a good story since the stories are different.
