I love to sketch first that way I can pump out more ideas that way. Sketching gives me a good frame of reference so that when I hit the softwares I have a solid starting point.

I sketch first but I've done so on a Wacom tablet for over 15 years. For me It makes it easier/faster to be able to copy and paste sketches and explore different directions.

Even using Framer only nowadays without any pre-wireframing in Figma - much easier and faster development.
