“Dear Fellow Gen Z” is a personal narrative script I created for my content page, exploring themes relevant to Gen Z through a second-person POV style, to make the viewer feel personally spoken to rather than observed.
This was a fully self-produced piece. My contributions included:
Scriptwriting — original concept development and narrative structure.
Voiceover — recorded and delivered the narration myself.
B-roll production — location scouting, filming, and on-screen performance in selected scenes.
Video editing — assembled and edited the full piece in CapCut.
Visual direction — planned how visuals would align with the script and support the narrative arc.

I built something for my mom.
We talk every day. But we've never made anything together. Not once.
So I built KINSHIP — a place where two people across any generation gap build a private visual language that only they share.
No typing. No reacting. Just drawing.
You arrive. Type your name. That's the door. A prompt surfaces — "the kitchen table" — and you both draw blind. Neither sees the other's version until both submit.
Then the screen goes dark. Both drawings develop slowly, like photographs in a darkroom. Hers. Mine. Same word. Different worlds.
Over time the archive grows. Every word you've ever drawn together. Your private dialect. Nobody else has this. Nobody else ever could.
We have six words now. And I know her better than years of conversation ever showed me. MAMA LOVED IT.

This isn't a design tool. It's a correspondence. A private language. Proof that you finally understand each other. It works for parents and kids, mentors and students, grandparents and grandchildren — any two people across a generation gap.
Built in @Figma Make with React, Supabase, and an old notebook aesthetic (cream paper, ink strokes, hand-drawn feel).

Love the design
Hospitable gave us one job. Make a short-term rental host feel seen and use story to drive a feeling.
No feature walkthroughs, just a video that a new short term rental host would relate to.
What we landed on was a voicemail. A host leaving a message for a friend who just listed their first place. And for the visuals we landed on approaching it from the POV the host's iPhone. What are moments a host would actually capture in the lead up to hosting for the first time?
We made the whole thing with generative AI. That's the part some people will push back on, and that's fair.
But most of our time went into restraint. Pulling the generated stuff back until it felt ordinary and lived-in instead of shiny. AI just let us build that world without a five-figure shoot getting between us and the idea.

It was refreshing to use these tools to chase a feeling, not just try to wow people with AI. We learned a ton in this project and look forward to creating more with this team.
