Marea Sur — from "can I dive with you?" to a confirmed spot on the boat 🌊
The business Marea Sur is a small dive center in Puerto Madryn, Patagonia, Argentina. Gastón runs it alone: one 6-seat boat that only goes out with 4 divers. He spends half the day underwater while booking questions pile up in three languages. Every booking used to mean 25 minutes of back-and-forth: "Is my 2023 Open Water still OK?", "Do you have 2 spots on Sunday?", "Is the boat going out with this wind?"
The problem I solved Booking tools handle the calendar. Marea Sur handles the conversation before it.
How it works → The diver writes one message, in any language → A dive log panel reads it and asks only what's missing, with one tap per answer → It checks their level, adds a refresher if their last dive was a while ago, and shows only the boats that fit → Cert photo, health check and gear sizes are collected before the dock → A 30% deposit holds the seat. When the 4th diver books, the boat confirms itself and everyone gets notified → If the coast guard closes the port, every diver is offered new dates automatically and moves with one tap, or gets the deposit back
On Gastón's side A live dashboard with boats filling up, exceptions to review, an activity log and the time saved, counted for him. No messages to answer.
