They said design is dead. I respectfully disagree. Yet, I built a cemetery for it, just in case.

An unserious solution to a very serious problem.

Rest in Pixels is a community graveyard where designers can give their abandoned ideas a proper burial. Every designer has a file called ‘Graveyard’ where abandoned ideas can be found that never made it. Built in Figma Make for the Config Makeathon.

Every design gets a tombstone with an inscribed epitaph.

Glassmorphism look. A color. Some stickers. Every tombstone is a little different, just like the design it's burying.

Then it joins a shared graveyard where other designers can visit, leave flowers, and pay their respects. Oh, and some designs? They can be revived. Because design was never really dead.

My workflow: started by defining the problem and diverging on concepts vibecoding, then designed the screens in Figma Design first before bringing them back into Figma Make. I tested the same prompt across multiple LLMs, used Opus for the initial build and interactions, then switched between Gemini and Sonnet to optimize output and token usage. Finished the last details straight in code with the help of Figma MCP, including the Supabase connection.
