Sons of Anarchy meets… fluffy kittens? 🏍️ My #RenoiseChallenge Submission For my submission, I knew I wanted to create a cinematic narrative with a completely unexpected twist.
As a designer who has clocked over 100,000 km road-tripping across the country on the back of a Harley-Davidson, the gritty, leather-clad biker aesthetic is practically second nature to me. But I also have a massive soft spot for cats! 😂 So, I decided to mash up a dark, tense 1940s film noir interrogation scene with the ultimate villain: an incredibly adorable, unbothered tiny kitten.
I built this 30-second short, "Bad Boy", entirely from scratch using Renoise Canvas. Here is how I set up the workflow:
The Setup:  I mapped out a node tree to generate high-contrast, moody black-and-white stills to lock in that dramatic Sons of Anarchy vibe.
The Motion: I brought the scenes to life using Image-to-Video nodes, carefully prompting for heavy rain, dynamic shadows from swinging lamps, and aggressive camera shakes to build the tension.
Check out the final video below, and swipe through to see a screenshot of my full node architecture and a walkthrough of the project! https://renoise.ai/canvas?project=9538887e-9b8d-4dd8-8e02-2c5ede0f3884 - project
