For #ConfigMakeathon, I created CONFIT MAG āØ
For those of you preparing for Figma Config seriously.
It's simple: a magazine for the outfits designers actually spent weeks curating. Every detail matters, like every pixel you design.
The problem: Instagram buries it. The Config hashtag is a mess: ducks, random noise, your extraordinary outfit lost in hours.
The real thing: Every designer at Config deserves a real place to post their looks. A space where your outfit actually matters. Where you can be truly seen by your peers.
How it works:
Upload your fit. Tag your brands. Add stickers. Personalize your page. Your peers celebrate it. It stays archived forever.
It's not a feed. It's a scrapbook. A space where your eye actually matters.
Why I built it: It's my favorite icebreaker, spotting someone with that eye, that taste, that vibe, and thinking "okay, I need to talk to them." Your outfit tells the story of who you are.
What started as a Config moment could become a design community thing, a place where what you wear tells the story of who you are as a creator.

CONFIT MAG solves a real problem. The Config hashtag is basically unusable during the event, and having a dedicated space where designer outfits actually live permanently is a much better idea. The scrapbook format fits the fashion reference vibe too.
I built a Figma plugin that lets designers search and import over 2.5M public domain images from a curated list of museums and cultural institutions like The Metropolitan Museum of Art, NY Public Library, Smithsonian, and more...
Itās called OPENMUSE. A digital muse for your work.
In a moment where AI is becoming part of almost every creative workflow, access to great references matters more than ever. Before build, we still need to look. To study. To collect. To be inspired by the visual culture that came before us.
The plugin is powered by Openverse[.]org, a project by WordPress[.]org, which gives access to openly licensed and public domain content from trusted cultural sources.
The most interesting part for me was the process:
1ļøā£ I used Figmaās new Design Agent to explore different directions for the pluginās look and feel, then kept iterating on the UI, improving the flows and adding new screens.
2ļøā£ I used Figma MCP with Claude Code to build the plugin from scratch and translate the Figma designs into a working product as closely as possible.
3ļøā£ I also used Figma Make to prototype some UI animations and create the landing page for the plugin.
The whole thing took less than 24 hours š¤Æ. In the video, I walk through the project, the design process, and the tools I used to build it.

Really excited to share FigmaCrews ā a multi-agent AI studio I built for the #ConfigMakeathon (@figma x @contra š)
FigmaCrews is basically my proposal to Figma ā what if Figma had a built-in AI team?
Right now, designers leave Figma constantly. Research, strategy, content, planning ā all happening in different tools, then coming back to design. That's a broken workflow.
So I built a working prototype to show what it could look like.
You get 6 AI agents inside Figma: Manager, Researcher, Digital Marketer, Designer, Figma Designer, and a QnA agent. Give one command to the Manager, and watch the team get to work ā in real time, without leaving Figma.
The idea is simple: Figma is already where design lives. In the AI era, it could be where the entire creative workflow lives.
