FairShare is one of those projects that looks straightforward until you actually start unpacking it. You’ve got parents on one side, kids on the other, and somehow the app has to work for both without feeling like two separate products glued together.
What I liked here is that the experience doesn’t try to force one messy interface on everyone. The parent side is clearly about control, structure, and keeping track of chores and screen time, while the child side stays super simple and focused. That separation makes a lot of sense to me — I’ve seen apps try to cram everything into one flow, and it usually just ends up confusing everybody.
The onboarding is probably one of the trickiest parts, because linking a parent and child device is exactly the kind of step where people get stuck and bail. Breaking that into smaller steps feels like the right move. For this type of product, setup can’t feel fragile.
I also think the color choice does a lot of quiet work here. It sits in a nice middle place — friendly enough for kids, but still calm and serious enough for parents. It’s the kind of thing you don’t always notice right away, but it changes the whole tone of the app.
Overall, this feels like the kind of case where UX choices really shape the product, not just the UI on top of it. The structure, the flow, and the tone all have to hold together, and that’s what makes it interesting.

REWIND
Every music app today feels the same. Skip, volume, EQ. All the same flat tap on the same flat screen.
REWIND brings back the physicality of real hardware.
Six disc slots. Three EQ knobs. Two faders. One click wheel. Each control does one thing. Upload your tracks to the shelf, load them into a slot, and play. The knobs and faders process audio in real time through the Web Audio API. The VU meter shows live frequency data. This isn't a music player with a hardware skin. It's a functional audio interface that happens to run in a browser.
The design language is intentionally brutalist. Monospace type, concrete grey, one accent color per disc, visible screw heads on the body.
Built with Figma , Figma Make for UI component generation, Figma MCP for design system operations, and Claude Code for audio engine integration.

iPod Music — A Tribute to Apple's UI Philosophy
Verified Connection App for College Students was BOND's hook; yours is nostalgia and craft. Use this as your one-liner:
A pixel-faithful recreation of the iconic iOS/iPod music player, rebuilding the UI that made a generation fall in love with digital music.
🎯 The Problem: Modern music apps have buried the magic. Cluttered home screens, algorithm-driven feeds, and busy now-playing views have replaced the calm, focused listening experience Apple's early UI pioneered, the one that made music feel like the only thing on screen.
✨ The Solution: iPod Music brings that philosophy back. A glassy, reflective "now playing" view sits above a Cover Flow-style album carousel, with album art catching soft reflections against true black, just like flipping through albums on a click wheel. Every control, from the heart-shaped like button to the minimal scrubber, is built with restraint: nothing decorative, everything purposeful.

Timeline: Designed and built solo for the Config Makeathon, focused on craft and fidelity over feature count.
The Story: This isn't a feature race, it's a tribute. The first time I saw an iPod's UI, design and technology felt magical together for the first time. This project is my attempt to recreate that exact feeling using today's tools, proof that great interface design doesn't need to be complicated to be unforgettable.
