One of the projects that shaped the type of work I enjoy building today.
Back in 2017, I had the opportunity to help develop this interactive editorial experience for CNN on the opening of the Louvre Abu Dhabi. That was my first project with CNN.
Rather than presenting the story as a traditional article, we used animation, scrolling, photography and video to guide readers through the architecture, engineering and vision behind the museum.
It's this blend of storytelling, design and development that made me realise how powerful the web can be when interaction becomes part of the narrative.
It's also the kind of work I still love creating today, whether for publishers, agencies or brands looking to tell a story in a more engaging way.

Design That Tells a Story
Not every website should feel like a story, but when the experience itself is part of the product, storytelling design can transform a landing page into something people remember.
Instead of simply presenting information, this approach guides visitors through a narrative. Layered visuals, editorial layouts, textured backgrounds, collages, illustrations, and thoughtful composition create emotion before a single paragraph is read.
This style works especially well for:
– travel and photography courses;
– creative education;
– wellness and mindfulness programs;
– personal brands with a strong philosophy;
– premium signature courses where the experience matters as much as the content.
The goal isn’t to add complexity – it’s to use design to support the story, strengthen the brand, and make the offer more memorable.

Continuing my exploration of the Sable Records website concept.
This is the Catalogue section, designed to showcase the label's latest releases through a more editorial and immersive approach.
Instead of relying on a standard card grid, I explored a composition built around oversized typography, strong imagery, asymmetry and intentional negative space.
The idea is to make each release feel like more than just an item in a catalogue.
A website can be functional without feeling generic—and for a music label with a strong identity, the browsing experience should be part of the world the label is creating.
