Take a deeper look into the backend architecture of the custom Point-of-Sale system we engineered for Dine So Fine! While the main checkout terminal handles the daily customer rush, these management modules give the business complete, secure control over their operational data.
📊 Master Transaction Ledger The Transaction History screen tracks every single sale in real-time. It features a dynamic Daily Sales Summary that highlights total revenue, transaction counts, and the top-selling product of the day. Below that, a detailed ledger stores past receipts with exact timestamps, unit prices, and itemized subtotals for perfect accounting.
📦 Live Inventory Database The Backend Database interface acts as the control centre for the restaurant's stock. Management can instantly filter through the product catalogue using barcodes or keywords to monitor stock allocations. The dedicated side panels allow staff to seamlessly register new inventory items, adjust current stock levels, or execute manual write-offs without leaving the screen.
🎨 Cohesive Brand Experience Most backend enterprise software is visually rigid, but we integrated Dine So Fine's vibrant colour palette, custom typography, and food-pattern aesthetics directly into these data-heavy screens. It proves that robust, localized SQLite databases can still look completely on-brand.
