To be honest, it is irrelevant to choose considering it is merely a login screen. However, if I really had to choose, I would choose the left one because the focus and purpose of this entire page is to have the user log in. The right option is diverting focus from that purpose....
Agreed. The left option keeps the primary action front and center, while the right layout gives too much visual weight to the image. For a login screen, clarity and focus usually matter more than aesthetics. 👍
