Beautiful UI means nothing if it compromises performance.
Recently, I built this interactive 3D Hexagon Matrix using Next.js and WebGL (Three.js/React Three Fiber). The challenge with immersive browser-based 3D isn't just making it look good—it's ensuring it runs at a buttery-smooth 60fps without causing memory leaks or bottlenecking the main thread.
As shown in the DevTools performance trace, the architecture is highly optimized. We have stable rendering, zero Cumulative Layout Shift (CLS), and lightning-fast Interaction to Next Paint (INP).
Bridging the gap between high-end visual design and strict front-end performance is where the magic happens.
