Still can't believe how much got built in a few days — so here's part two.
A closer look at the Green Cape build 🔎
Quick recap of the before: only an Instagram page as online presence, a Linktree, bookings through DMs, and a fixed menu per class — if guests didn't like the dishes, they simply didn't come.
1 — The menu voting
The feature I'm most happy about. Guests pick up to 2 dishes they'd love to cook when booking a group class. The host sees the vote tally and finalizes the menu in one click. No more guessing what people want to cook — the menu is shaped by the ones actually coming.
2 — Private masterclasses
A three-step flow: choose up to 3 dishes from the visual menu, propose a date, leave your details. The request lands in the admin fully structured — and the host replies with a ready one-click email draft.
3 — The AI assistant
Answers what guests always ask — transfer, prices, what to bring, whether dinner is included. Tappable suggested questions, so nobody stares at an empty chat. And it knows the difference: transfer is available for group classes, not for private ones.
4 — The admin space
Everything is CMS-based: events, dishes, bookings, requests, testimonials. The owner edits it all directly — it's a system she runs herself, not a website that needs me every time something changes.
5 — The design
Quiet and editorial on purpose. A place like this doesn't need a loud website — it needs one that feels like the guesthouse: calm, warm, food-first.

The whole thing leans into provenance, the idea that every piece has a past worth telling. Warm parchment base, editorial type, curated gallery feel. Less SaaS startup, more auction catalog.

Using actual industry metrics like "lots sold" and "sell-through rate" in the hero section is such a thoughtful touch. It shows you really looked into how fine auction houses establish trust, rather than just dropping in generic placeholder stats.

The goal was to create a cleaner, more modern experience that helps visitors quickly understand the firm's value and take the next step with confidence.
