When I moved to Portugal, I had a big desire to build something for the community.
As I'm living in a small town called Costa da Caparica, I did some research and found out that the aren't enough information about it on the internet, and many local businesses aren't present online at all.
So I decided to create such a platform for tourists, locals, and digital nomads - a place where I gather information about where to go, what to visit, where to buy what you need, where to find a doctor, a pharmacy, or a surf coach.
I'm planning to add even more features with time, such as local news, info about events, etc. What surprised me is that right after launching the website, a few business owners reached out to me with requests to add their businesses to my platform.
What features would you add to this website to make it even more useful?
As a tourist, I think such websites are super useful, and not only to people - they can be even more useful to AI models, which will have high-quality information about such places as Costa da Caparica.

I would add an offline saved version of your map pins first, since tourists and nomads often browse Costa da Caparica before they have a local SIM, then let each business claim and update its own listing so the info stays current without you maintaining all of it.

This is such a useful idea, especially for a smaller town where local information can be scattered across different places. I’d definitely consider adding a simple events calendar and user reviews/recommendations. A way for local businesses to claim and update their listings could also make the platform grow more organically.

Building the local guide that does not exist yet is a strong wedge, especially in a town where the businesses are not online. The piece I would design early is how a business claims and updates its own listing, since a local directory lives or dies on whether the info stays current after launch.
True! This functionality already exists in the basement of the website's architecture, and I'll expand these functions soon! Thank you for reminding the importance of this!

Most music school websites play it safe.
Seven # Nine doesn’t.
The idea was simple: a website about music should have some rhythm of its own. Big typography, black-and-white photography, sharp red accents, and interactions that constantly change the pace as you scroll.
I developed the complete template in Webflow, including study programs, a CMS blog, applications, FAQs, and all the smaller pages needed to make it launch-ready.
Probably one of my favorite templates to move through, not just look at.
