I am planning to cook for the makeathon. So far, I have developed a true AR camera with an air canvas and location tags. I am really excited about this solution, but I wonder if it’s worthy of winning the makeathon. I realize that I still need to put in a lot more effort.
My main entry requires 'time' and 'clarity', the two things I currently lack. Here's me putting my thoughts and hopes of winning the Makeathon 2026 out in the universe and leaving everything to my efforts. The concept sounds strong — especially the AR + air canvas angle. For makeathons, clarity of problem framing and demo storytelling often matters as much as the build itself. How are you positioning the use case?

To make it stand out, I’d focus on three things:
1 . A very sharp problem statement — what pain does this solve immediately?
2 . A clear “why AR?” moment — what becomes possible that wasn’t before?
3 . A tight demo story — show a before/after transformation in under 60 seconds.
