Work email is for work. Period. Employers have legal rights to monitor company accounts. Personal accounts on work devices can be searched during investigations. Work email used for personal accounts means you lose access when employment ends. And if you're ever investigated, your personal life becomes company property.
Here's how to maintain separation:
📧 Never use work email for personal accounts or signups
📧 Never access personal email on work devices
📧 Never store personal files in work cloud accounts
📧 Use separate browsers for work and personal
📧 If remote, use different user profiles or devices
📧 Assume everything on work systems is monitored
