Hadran Academy - EdTech Management System

Hadran Academy is a comprehensive educational technology platform designed to streamline classroom management, real-time student behavior tracking, and school-wide administrative communication. Client Goals: The client needed a centralized SaaS platform to replace the manual tracking of attendance and student behavior. They wanted a system where teachers could monitor class sessions in timed intervals, award praise points, issue deductions, and instantly alert school principals or deans of urgent situations (e.g., a student leaving class without permission). Challenges: One major challenge was ensuring real-time data synchronization between the teacher's active class dashboard and the administration's view without causing performance lag. Additionally, the system required complex role-based access control (RBAC) to securely manage permissions across admins, principals, deans, teachers, and support staff. Solutions: I developed a robust full-stack web application using React, TypeScript, Node.js, Express, and MongoDB. I implemented optimistic UI updates and a background queue operation system to ensure teachers experience zero latency when logging behaviors or sending urgent alerts during class. I also integrated automated end-of-session reports and DOE-compliant attendance tracking. The final product drastically improved school communication and classroom discipline management.
