Meet Pip & Lulu — a black-and-white silent-film romance set aboard a hyper-advanced starship. Pip's a bumbling 1920s repairman who fixes quantum reactors with a wrench and a kick. Lulu's a mysterious alien — beautiful and elegant from across the room, all petal-jaws and acid tentacles up close. Everyone else runs. Pip straightens his hat and offers her flowers. 🎩⚔️👽

PILOT Episode 1: The Courtship

ABOUT THE SERIES + PILOT Pip is a 1920s maintenance man somehow employed aboard a hyper-advanced starship — a man out of his century, fixing quantum reactors with a wrench and a kick. Then he meets Lulu: elegant and regal from across the room, all petal-jaws and acid tentacles up close. Everyone else runs. Pip offers flowers. The pilot follows one disastrous courtship, told entirely without words, in strict black-and-white silent-film slapstick.

WHERE THE SERIES GOES NEXT Every episode takes an ordinary romantic milestone and turns it into futuristic slapstick danger — a first date beside a black hole, zero-gravity couples counseling with a telepathic therapist, meeting Lulu's hive-mind family, cooking dinner together, a malfunctioning-time-machine anniversary. Lulu doesn't fall for Pip overnight; she's curious, watching, unreadable. Pip is certain something romantic is happening. The audience is never quite sure. And bit by bit, this odd little romance grows — one flower, one disaster, one hopeful hat-tip at a time. 🎩
