A self-service booking app for a fictional car detailing studio in Austin, Texas, built with Lovable.
The problem: a solo owner needs to clean cars while also answering questions about prices, booking times and appointment changes.
Sunday Shine lets customers choose their vehicle and service, explore what’s included, see their price, and book an available time. Customers verify their email and can later reschedule or cancel within the studio’s rules.
The owner dashboard brings bookings into one schedule, with tools to add phone bookings, block time and update appointment statuses. Scheduling accounts for service length, lunch breaks and cleanup time.
The goal is fewer booking messages and less manual scheduling, giving the owner more time for customers’ cars.
This is a working challenge build with database-backed test bookings. Images are illustrative. Booking, reminder and waitlist emails still require sender-domain setup.

I created a booking experience for a fictional solo automobile detailing business in Austin where the owner was losing time to back-and-forth booking messages.
Really like how clearly you've framed the before vs. after workflow here. For a mobile detailing business, did you also account for travel time/location when determining availability?
Feels like that's where scheduling gets especially interesting once bookings start stacking up.
I have decided to create minimal friendly pet booking app MINTLEAF, in Lovable, user friendly simple and creative approach to collecting and solving major pet clinic problems in short time, both compatible as desktop app and mobile version.
Nice direction, especially taking it mobile-first too. Curious, does the booking flow capture the reason for the visit or any pet context before confirming?
Vet clinics are one of those cases where not every available slot is necessarily the right slot.
